The Beginning Band is for students interested in beginning study of music and a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument at Elite Scholars Academy. All students will be afforded the opportunity to try all woodwind and brass instruments, and will make an educated selection alongside their family and the director. Students interested in percussion will take a separate audition. This ensemble focuses on the development of fundamental instrumental skills as well as learning music theory and notation.
