The Beginning Orchestra is for students interested in beginning study of music and a string instrument at Elite Scholars Academy. All students will be afforded the opportunity to try all string instruments, and will make an educated selection alongside their family and the director. This ensemble focuses on the development of fundamental instrumental skills as well as learning music theory and notation. Performances typically occur in the second semester.
