The Elite Scholars Academy Band and Orchestra Program serves nearly 150 students in grades 6-12 daily. Students enroll in a performance based class that meets each day, and work towards 2-3 major performances a semester. Other opportunities for students include Solo and Ensemble performances, District Honor Bands & Orchestras, Georgia Allstate Bands & Orchestras, and the many outstanding youth ensembles in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area.

The Concert Bands and Concert Orchestras at Elite Scholars Academy consistently receive high ratings at GMEA events, including Solo and Ensemble as well as Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE).

Since the school's opening in 2009, the Band and Orchestra Program has been an important element to the schools success. Elite Scholars Academy has been named a National Magnet School of Distinction (2021) as well as a National Blue Ribbon School (2021, 2014).
